Whenever I anoint anyone with oil I use a scented one if possible because people nearly always comment afterward how pleasing it was. If they are anxious or worried the lovely fragrance soothes them even as the Holy Spirit visits and ministers to their need.

The fragrance of Frankincense & Myrrh lingers beautifully as a later reminder of their prayer. Considering the deep spiritual significance, how can you go wrong picking this one?

 

Frankincense & Myrrh have deep spiritual significance as two of the three gifts presented to the Messiah after his birth. Also in temple days, sweet incense containing Frankincense was placed on the inner altar of the Tabernacle and burned morning and evening. It speaks of intercession. Myrrh, used as a burial spice and in purification rites, was a primary ingredient of the Holy Anointing Oil. It speaks of suffering and death and our total deliverance in the atoning work of Jesus Christ.
